Eroglu, Abdullah


Dr. Abdullah Eroglu is an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering and Director of the RF/Microwave Laboratory at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW). He received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Gaziantep and an MSEE and Ph.D. from Syracuse University. Dr. Eroglu's work has been recognized with numerous awards including the 2013 IPFW Outstanding Researcher Award, 2012 IPFW Featured Faculty Award, 2011 IPFW Sigma Xi Researcher of the Year Award, and 2010 IPFW ETCS Excellence in Research Award. Dr. Eroglu's research focuses on areas of applied electromagnetics including RF/Microwave systems and devices and their interactions with plasma systems. Specific research areas include energy systems; RFIDs; antenna design and development; RF power amplifier design, development, and implementation; power devices modeling and simulation; EMI analysis; ultra wideband channel modeling; and wireless communication systems.
