Details

Dr. Rodney Trice is a Professor of Materials Engineering at Purdue University. He earned his B.S. and M.S. in Materials Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. His research interests include novel thermal spray techniques (suspension spray) to create nanostructured coatings, novel composite forming processes (CeraSGel) for ZrB2/SiC, high temperature mechanical properties of thermal barrier coatings, and microstructural design of plasma-sprayed coatings.
