Details

Dr. Qingyou Han is the FEF Key Professor of Mechanical Engineering Technology, a Professor of Materials Engineering by courtesy, and Director of the Purdue Center for Materials Processing Research at Purdue University. He received his B.S. in Metallurgy from Wuhan Institute of Technology, M.S. in Metallurgy from Beijing University of Science and Technology, and Ph.D. in Materials Science from Oxford University. Dr. Han's research interests include casting and solidification processing of metals and alloys, composite processing, and the application of high-intensity ultrasonic vibration for material processing.
