Dr. David A. Colby is a former Assistant Professor of Organic Chemistry and Medicinal Chemistry at Purdue University. He is currently an Associate Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Mississippi. Dr. Colby earned a Pharm.D. from The University of Iowa and a Ph.D. from the University of California at Irvine. He also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at The Scripps Research Institute. His research focuses on using natural products as potential leads for drug discovery in drug-resistant cancer.
