Dr. Evgenii Narimanov is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D at Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology with highest honors and summa cum laude on his M.S. and B.S., respectively. Dr. Narimanov was named a Purdue University Faculty Scholar, 2016 to 2021. Dr. Narimanov's research interests include negative index (meta) materials, optical systems with ray-chaotic dynamics, information-theoretical description of nonlinear fiber-optical systems, and non-linear dynamics. His work leads to a number of important applications from novel trace gas cell technology to a new approach to CDMA codes for fiber-optics.
