Dr. Corey Neu is a former Associate Professor and a current Adjunct Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University. Currently, he is the Donnelly Family Endowed Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Dr. Neu earned a Sc.B. in Mechanical Engineering and Sc.M. in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Davis. Dr. Neu leads the Soft Tissue Bioengineering Laboratory at Purdue. Dr. Neu received the 2014 Faculty Early Career Development award from the National Science Foundation. His research interests include the response of skeletal cells to mechanical stimuli, motion encoding and deformation measurements using MRI, tribology of artificial joints, regeneration and repair of articular cartilage, biomechanics, and medical imaging.
