Klimeck, Gerhard


Dr. Gerhard Klimeck is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Director of the Network for Computational Nanotechnology, and the Reilly Director of the Center for Predictive Materials and Devices at Purdue University. He received a Diplom-Ingenieur in Electrical Engineering from Ruhr-University Bochum and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. Dr. Klimeck is a fellow of the Institute of Physics, the American Physical Society, and IEEE. Dr. Klimeck's research interests include nanoelectronic device analysis and synthesis, genetic algorithm based optimization, image processing, high performance computing, and engineering tool development.
