Details

Dr. Gregory M. Shaver is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University with highest distinction and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Stanford University. Dr. Shaver was named a Purdue University Faculty Scholar, 2014 to 2019, received the 2014 Purdue College of Engineering Early Career Excellence Research Award, and received the 2011 Max Bentele Award for Engine Technology Innovation. Dr. Shaver's research interests include the modeling, design and control of advanced powertrains and powertrain control strategies that allow for the efficient and clean use of conventional and alternative fuels.
