Details

Dr. Timothee Pourpoint earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering ESTACA University, Paris, France. He later went on to receive his M.S. degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Alabama, Huntsville. During the completion of his Doctorate in Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University, Dr. Timothee Pourpoint led the development of the Integrated Gas Turbine Combustion Facility at the Maurice Zucrow High Pressure Laboratory. Much of his research thus far has been aimed toward improved designs and techniques for high-pressure systems. Overall, Dr. Pourpoint's research interests lie in aerospace propulsion systems, rocket engine combustors, liquid propellant injection systems, hypergolic propellants, and high pressure and hydrogen storage systems.
