Dr. Joerg Appenzeller is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University. He is also Scientific Director of Nanoelectronics in the Birck Nanotechnology Center. Dr. Appenzeller's research focuses on device and transport physics of low-dimensional systems, experimental verification of novel device concepts for improved transistor performance, and exploration of nano-materials and nano-interfaces for future nanoelectronics applications.
