Details

Dr. Alina Alexeenko is a Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University. Dr. Alexeenko received a B.S. and M.S. in Applied Mathematics from Novosibirsk State University and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. Dr Alexeenko was named a Purdue University Faculty Scholar, 2015 to 2020. Her research interests include computational rarefied gas dynamics, direct simulation Monte Carlo techniques, coupled thermal-fluid analysis of microdevices, and high-altitude aerothermodynamics and thermal radiation.
