Dr. Euiwon Bae is a Senior Research Scientist and Continuing Lecturer of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University. He earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Korea University, his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. He was a finalist in the 2009 Purdue University Burton D. Morgan Business Plan Competition. His research interests include light scattering, discrete dipole approximation, biomedical optics, instrument development for food safety, and the optical characterization of soot.
