Details

Dr. Saurabh Bagchi is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science (by courtesy), Director of the CRISP university-wide center on resilience, and leads the Dependable Computing Systems Laboratory at Purdue University. Dr. Bagchi received a B.Tech. from the Indiana Institute of Technology and an M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2013, Dr. Bagchi was named an ACM Distinguished Scientist and an IMPACT Faculty Fellow at Purdue, a Distinguished Speaker for ACM (2012), and a Senior Member of IEEE (2007) and ACM (2009). His research focuses on dependable distributed systems, network security, reliable high performance computing, wireless mesh, and sensor networks.
