Details

Dr. Yuan Yao is an Associate Professor of Food Science at Purdue University. He received his B.S. in Polymer Science and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Dalian University of Technology, and his Ph.D. in Food Science from Jiangnan University. Dr. Yao's research interests include the creation, characterization, and applications of novel carbohydrates, the study of interactions among food ingredients, and the development of value-added materials for the food and nonfood industries.
