Dr. Brad Duerstock is a Professor of Engineering Practice with a joint appointment in Biomedical Engineering and Industrial Engineering and courtesy appointments in Veterinary Medicine and Health and Human Sciences at Purdue University. Dr. Duerstock earned a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Purdue University. His research focuses on improving human-technology interaction and the design and delivery of customized technologies, particularly for persons with physical disabilities. Motor and sensory impairments in the human system provide unique challenges in the design of technological solutions that provide support or greater functionality to these individuals.
