Experimental Protein that Controls Plant Tip Growth

Dr. Daniel B. Szymanski is a Professor of Botany and Plant Pathology, Agronomy, and by courtesy, Biological Sciences at Purdue University. He received his B.S. from the University of Michigan and his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois. In 2017, Dr. Szymanski was named a Fellow of the American Society of Plant Biologists. In 2010, he received the Purdue Seeds for Success Award, and in 2009, the Purdue Agricultural Research Award. Dr. Szymanski research focuses on molecular genetics, live cell imaging, biochemistry, and computational modeling of plant cell morphogenesis.
