Dr. John Morgan was named a Purdue University Faculty Scholar, 2016 to 2021. He is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University. He received his B.S. and M.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Kansas and his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from Rice University. His research interests involve engineering metabolic pathways for increased production of chemicals and biologically-active metabolites. The approaches span scales from manipulating the molecular structure of enzymes to bioreactor design and operation strategies. Dr. Morgan was named a Purdue University Faculty Scholar, 2016 to 2021.
