Details

Dr. J. Paul Robinson is the Distinguished Professor of Cytometry in the School of Veterinary Medicine and a Professor in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University. He is also the Director or the Purdue University Cytometry Laboratories. Dr. Robinson received his Ph.D. in Immunopathology from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, and he completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical School. His research area has focused on reactive oxygen species, microbiology and flow cytometry, automated classification of data sets, and multimedia education material development. Recent work in fluorescence detection technologies has led to significant advances in the area of single cell detection.
