Dr. Daniel T. Smith is a Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Industrial and Physical Pharmacy, and is the Director of the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility at Purdue University. Dr. Smith received his B.S. in Chemistry from Miami University (Ohio), and his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Penn State University. He also performed Post-Doctoral research at the University of Virginia. His research interests include drug design, development, and discovery, mainly in the area of spinal cord injury.
