Dr. Scott A. McLuckey is the John A. Leighty Distinguished Professor of Chemistry at Purdue University. Dr. McLuckey earned his B.S. in Chemistry from Westminster College and his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Purdue University. He has received numerous awards, including the American Chemical Society Frank H. Field and Joe L. Franklin Award for outstanding Achievement in Mass Spectrometry and the Royal Society of Chemistry Theophilus Redwood Award in Analytical Chemistry, both in 2012, to name a couple. Dr. McLuckey's research interests include gas-phase ion chemistry and instrumentation for organic and biological mass spectrometry.
