Dr. Jiqin Ni is an Associate Professor of Agricultural and Biological Engineering, an Affiliate in Environmental and Ecological Engineering, and a Research Extension Specialist at Purdue University. Dr. Ni received his M.S. and Ph.D. at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. His research focuses on the methodology and technology in air quality study, bioenergy from agricultural wastes, and air and water pollution abatement. Dr. Ni's extension research focuses on livestock and rural waste systems engineering, including statewide animal manure management, water and air quality protection, and on-farm biological waste treatment, using technologies such as anaerobic digestion, bioreactors, and best management practices for reducing the environmental impact from animal agriculture.
