Details

Dr. Arvind Raman is the Associate Dean for Global Engineering Programs, the Robert V. Adams Professor of Mechanical Engineering, and a Professor of Materials Engineering by courtesy at Purdue University. Dr. Raman earned a B.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, an M.S.M.E. from Purdue, and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkley. Dr. Raman was named a Purdue University Faculty Scholar, 2008 to 2012, and a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers in 2012. His research interests include nonlinear dynamics, fluid-structure interactions, and their applications to atomic force microscopy, MES/NEMS, human biomechanics, and roll-to-roll flexible electronics and nanomanufacturing.
