Dr. Natalia Dudareva is a distinguished professor at Purdue University in Biochemistry and Horticulture and Landscape Architecture. Dr. Dudareva received a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the Institute of Biochemistry, Kiev, Ukraine, a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology from the University Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, France, and a B.S. and M.S. from Novosibirsk State University, Russia. Dr. Dudareva has received numerous awards for her work. In 2014, she was awarded the Sigma Xi Faculty Research Award, in 2011, she was elected Chair for the Gordon Research Conference on Plant Metabolic Engineering, and in 2010, she was named a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. Dr. Dudareva's current research focuses on various aspects of plant molecular biology.
