Dr. Qin Xu is a Research Assistant Professor of Food Science at Purdue University. She earned a B.S in Food Science and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Food Chemistry from Purdue. Her research interests include biomass conversation and utilization, developing value-added agricultural materials, developing novel processing techniques that are environmentally friendly and economically feasibly, and understanding the functionality and application of biomaterials.
