Dr. Suresh K. Mittal is a Distinguished Professor of Comparative Pathobiology at Purdue University. He also serves as the Infectious Disease Group Leader for Purdue Institute of Inflammation, Immunology, and Infectious Disease. He is a member of the Purdue Center for Cancer Research and the Bindley Bioscience Center. Dr. Mittal received his M.S. and D.V.M. from Haryana Agricultural University and Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge. Dr. Mittal's research focus includes human and nonhuman adenoviral vector design, recombinant vaccines for emerging and reemerging infectious diseases, cancer immunotherapy, circumvention of adenoviral vector immunity & toxicity for gene therapy, and innate and adaptive immunity.
