Dr. Suresh K. Mittal is the Interim Department Head and Professor of Comparative Pathobiology at Purdue University. He is a member of the Purdue Cancer Center and the Bindley Bioscience Center. Dr. Mittal received his M.S. and DVM from Haryana Agricultural University and his Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge. Dr. Mittal's research focus includes human and nonhuman adenoviral vectors, recombinant vaccines, gene therapy, circumvention of adenoviral vector immunity and toxicity, targeted adenoviral vectors for cancer gene therapy, innate and adaptive immunity, and immunization of elderly.
