Details

Dr. James Braun is the Herrick Professor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and Director of the Center for High Performance Buildings at Purdue. He has a joint appointment in Civil Engineering and a courtesy appointment in Environmental and Ecological Engineering. Dr. Braun received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Wisconsin University. His research combines the use of computer modeling, optimization, and experiments to study and improve the performance of thermal systems.
