Prediction of swelling and pasting behavior of starch solutions
Dr. Ganesan Narsimhan is a Professor of Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Purdue University. He received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India, and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Indiana Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. Dr. Narsimhan was named the Outstanding Engineering Teacher in Agricultural and Biological Engineering in 1995 and 1997. He is a member of Purdue's Whistler Center for Carbohydrate Research where his general research areas include emulsions and foams and biopolymer interactions. In addition, Dr. Narsimhan's general areas of interest include biological engineering, food process engineering, and food safety with specific research interests in food colloids and bioseparations.
