Dr. Val J. Watts is the Associate Dean for Research in the College of Pharmacy and a Professor of Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at Purdue University. He received a B.S. in Pharmacy from Ohio Northern University, a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of North Carolina, and completed his education with postdoctoral research in Molecular Pharmacology at the Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Watts' research uses a multidisciplinary approach, combining molecular biology, biochemistry, and pharmacology to study the signaling mechanisms of G protein-coupled receptors and regulation of endogenous and recombinant adenylyl cyclases. For additional information, visit Dr. Watts's Purdue webpage: http://www.mcmp.purdue.edu/faculty/?uid=wattsv or his lab website: http://people.pharmacy.purdue.edu/~wattsv/ |
