Novel Method for Control of Plant Expression

Dr. Thomas K. Hodges is an Emeritus Professor of Botany and Plant Pathology at Purdue University. In 1989, Dr. Hodges was named Purdue's first Joseph C. Arthur Distinguished Professor of Plant Physiology and he received the Herbert Newby McCoy Award. He earned a B.S. in Agronomy from Purdue and a Ph.D. in Plant Physiology from the University of California, Davis. Dr. Hodges' research focused on ion transport into plant cells, regenerating whole corn plants from naked (wall-less) cells, and regenerating rice plants from single cells.
