Dr. Garner has been promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in the School of Nuclear Engineering at Purdue University and serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering by Courtesy as well as Associate Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering by Courtesy at Purdue University. Since joining Purdue University in 2012, he has done an outstanding job teaching, researching, and engaging. He has successfully secured research funding from various sponsors including AFRL, DARPA, U.S. NRC, ONR, NASA, U.S. DOE and private industries. He is instrumental in teaching and advising at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. This past summer, Dr. Garner was also promoted to the rank of captain within the U.S. Navy. Dr. Garner's research interests include plasma medicine, bioelectronics, pulsed power, computational electromagnetics, and nuclear engineering.
