DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING OF SUSTAINABLE BATTERY ELECTRODE WITH HIGH ACTIVE MATERIAL CONTENT
Dr. Sunghwan Lee is an Assistant Professor in the School of Engineering Technology at Purdue University. Prior to Purdue, he was with Baylor University as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science. He earned his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Materials Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and Brown University, respectively. He was a Post-Doctoral Scientist at M.I.T and Harvard University researching functional thin films for solar cell and fuel cell devices.
His current research focuses on the field of advanced processing of multi-functional materials and their device applications with the following key words: flexible electronics, functional nanostructured materials, microstructure evolution, energy conversion devices. Dr. Lee has published over 35 journal papers and 30 conference proceedings/abstracts in the literature and given over 30 invited talks and seminars.
