Dr. Xiaoping Bao is an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University. Dr. Bao has a B.S in Chemical Engineering from Tsinghua University, a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Chemical and Biological Engineering. Dr. Bao was also a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Bao's Lab, the Bao Lab's main research interest, is to innovate technologies that can be used to cure degenerative diseases. Dr. Bao's research also focuses on stem cell differentiation and biomanufacturing, human disease modeling and gene editing, and bioinformative and computational biology.
