Details

Dr. Richard Borgens is the Mari Hulman George Professor of Applied Neuroscience in the School of Veterinary Medicine and a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University. He is also the Director of the Institute for Applied Neurology at the Center for Paralysis Research at Purdue. Dr. Borgens received his Ph.D. in Biophysics and Experimental Zoology at Purdue and was a Postdoctoral fellow at Yale University for three years. His research interests include paralysis and neuronal regeneration and its physiological control.
