Dr. Jan P. Allebach is the Hewlett-Packard Distinguished Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University. He received his B.S. from the University of Delaware, and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Princeton University. In 2014, Dr. Allebach was named a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors. Dr. Allebach's research interests include electronic imaging systems, image capture and rendering, color image processing, image quality and document imaging.
