Dr. Shriram Ramanathan is a Professor of Materials Engineering at Purdue University. Dr. Ramanathan received a B.S. in Metallurgy from IIT Madras, an M.S. in Materials Engineering from the University of Houston, and his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University. Dr. Ramanathan's research interests include materials science of complex oxides, strongly correlated matter, and their applications in solid state devices for information processing and energy conversion.
