Dr. Carson Slabaugh is an Assistant Professor of Aeronautics & Astronautics at Purdue University. Dr. Slabaugh's research interests are focused on the physics of combustion at high power-density and operating regimes of practical propulsion systems. From the laboratory to the engine, his ongoing work covers spans from fundamental study of high-speed turbulent flames to the development of advanced combustion technologies for liquid rocket engines and scramjets, including rotating detonation engines.
