Dr. Richard Voyles is a Professor of Engineering Technology at Purdue University. He received his B.S. in electrical engineering from Purdue University, his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and his Ph.D. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University. Dr. Voyles has led the National Robotics Initiative at the National Science Foundation, and has also served in the Office of Science and Technology Policy at the White House. His areas of research are wide and varied, including robotic systems, wireless control networks, and programming.
