Dr. Mukerrem Cakmak is the Reilly Professor of Materials and Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University. He received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Technical University of Istanbul and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Polymer Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dr. Cakmak's research interests include modeling and experimental studies on processing, structure property relationships in polymer films and moldings, and polymer/metal/ceramic hybrid systems.
