Dr. Ardekani is currently an Associate professor of Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University. She received her B.S. from Sharif University of Technology, her M.S. from University of California Irvine, and her Ph.D. from University of California Irvine. Dr. Ardekani received the Shapiro Postdoctoral Fellow ship in 2009, the Zonta International Amelia Earhart Award in 2007, and the Technical Innovation Award at the 16th AAAI Robotic Competition in 2002. Her current research interests are in fluid dynamics, biofluid dynamics, and multiphase flow.
