Dr. Luna Lu is an Associate Professor of Civil Engineering with a courtesy appointment in Materials Engineering at Purdue University. She received her B.S. in Construction Engineering and M.S. in Business Management from the Xi'an University of Architecture and Technology and her M.S. in Construction Science and Management and Ph.D. in Career and Technology Education from Clemson University. In 2014, Dr. Lu received the NSF Career award. Dr. Lu's research focuses on the discovery of functional nanomaterials with tunable properties to enable renewable energy and sustainability in civil infrastructures.
