Nikhil Mahnot is a Ph.D. student at Tezpur University who was selected as the Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Research Fellowship for the 2015 to 2016 session. Mr. Mahnot is conducting his research at Purdue University. His research topic is "Non Thermal Processing of Coconut Water," which is also his Ph.D. research topic. He received his B.Tech. from Cotton College, Guwahati, and his M.Tech. in Food Engineering and Technology from Tezpur University, Tezpur. Mr. Mahnot's research in food science and technology has led to a diverse portfolio in optimizing food species. His research focuses on the preservation of coconut water and other processed foods.
