Tao, Bernard Y Y


Dr. Bernard Tao is the Indiana Soybean Board Professor in Soybean Utilization and Professor of Agricultural and Biological Engineering/Food Sciences at Purdue University. Dr. Tao also serves on the committee for Global Sustainable Industrial Systems. He is currently conducting research in post-synthetic recombinant genetic modification of plant lipids, development of polymer coatings from hydrophobic proteins, and on-line FTIR biosensor development for mammalian cell culture fermentation. Dr. Tao received his Ph.D. from Iowa State University in 1988.
