Details

Dr. Alexander Chubykin is an Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences at Purdue University. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Applied Physics and Mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Chubykin's research focuses on how brain circuits perform computations and affect perception and behaviors. Of particular interest are specific circuits relevant for visual perception and the study of diseases affecting perception and neural circuit function, such as autism.
