Dr. Andy Koswara is a Post Doc Research Associate in Chemical Engineering at Purdue University. Dr. Koswara received his B.S. from the University of California, San Diego and his Ph.D. from Purdue University. In 2013, he received the Purdue University Student Chapter of SIAM Travel Award from the Society of Industrial Applied Mathematics. In 2005 he was honored with the University of California, San Diego Undergraduate Scholastic Award. His research focuses on control and optimization by looking at bilinear control theory and utilizing gradient- and evolutionary-based algorithms in quantum dynamic systems.
