Details

Dr. Kevin Trumble is a Professor of Materials Engineering and Director of the Purdue Center for Metal Casting Research at Purdue University. Dr. Trumble earned a B.S.E. and M.S.E. from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Dr. Trumble has been recognized with the Alexander von Humboldt Honors and the Young Investigator Awards. His research interests include the fundamentals of wetting and infiltration in processing metal-ceramic composites, colloidal processing of ceramics and ceramic composites, ultrafine grained metals via machining, microstructure studies on catalyst materials, and microstructure development in meteorites.
