Dr. Kee Hong Kim is an Associate Professor of Food Science and Courtesy Associate Professor of Food and Nutrition in the Department of Food Science, as well as leading the Kim Laboratory at Purdue University. Dr. Kim earned a B.S. and an M.S. from Seoul National University, both in food science and biotechnology, and a Ph.D. from Rutgers University in food science. In 2011 and 2009, he received the Ralph W. and Grace M. Showalter Research Trust Award. His research focuses on development of dietary strategies to prevent the generation of adipose tissue and its associated pathogenesis in obesity.
