Dr. Linda H. Nie is an Associate Professor of Health Sciences at Purdue University. She received a B.S. in Physics from Zhongnan University of Technology (China), an M.S. and Ph.D. in Medical Physics from McMaster University. She did her postdoctoral training in Nuclear Instrumentation, Exposure Assessment, and Epidemiology at Harvard University. Dr. Nie teaches courses in Radiation Instrumentation, Health Physics, and Radiation Emergency Management. Her research interests include the application of nuclear physics and instrumentation in environmental health, development of neutron and x-ray technologies, and general nuclear physics applications.
