Dr. Charles F. Babbs is an associate research scholar in basic medical sciences and a continuing lecturer in the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University. He received his B.S. in Experimental Psychology from Yale University, his M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine, and his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Purdue. Some of his major research interests include applied cardiovascular physiology and biomedical engineering, which vary from electrical ventricular defibrillation to hyperthermia therapy for cancer.
