Dr. Peter Bermel is an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University and a researcher at the Birck Nanotechnology Center. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of North Carolina and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, respectively. in 2015, Dr. Bermel received the NSF CAREER Award. Dr. Bermel's primary research goal is to improve the performance of photovoltaic, thermophotovoltaic and nonlinear systems using the principles of nanophotonics.
