Researchers at Purdue University have developed a new clustering algorithm to improve efficiency on functional quantum computers. The design has been tested with a physics research project at the Conseil Europeen pour la Recherche Nucleaire (CERN) and significant improvement in computational speed was observed. Through this new method, speedup of 10x-100x that of traditional system algorithms is achievable.
